This is our regular location for classes and our Tuesday night practice dance. This huge, air-conditioned space has a wonderful, sprung wood floor. Ample parking onsite. Vending machines with water and sports drinks are available, or bring your own water in a Lovin' Lindy water bottle! |
This cozy coffee shop is a great place to hang out...or spontaneously break out in dancing to the jazzy tunes playing in the background. The venue has ceramic tile flooring and ample parking. |
This is the second oldest gym in Charlotte and sports an original, gorgeous hardwood floor. Because this facility is so old, it does not have air-conditioning, but we do have an industrial fan for each dance we host in this venue. We suggest you bring several shirts and a golf-style towel. There is a large parking lot onsite. On-street parking is also available. Please observe all "no parking" signs. |
The Childress Klein YMCA is located in the One Wachovia building in Uptown Charlotte on the Mall Level. The YMCA boasts a gorgeous multipurpose room, complete with hardwood floors, mirrors, and a sound system. PARKING: Free parking for 2.5 hours is available with validation in the One Wachovia parking garage, with entrances on both Martin Luther King Blvd and Third Street. Park on the GREEN or ORANGE level as marked and take the elevator to level "A." The YMCA is located immediately to your right. Take your parking ticket to the YMCA front desk to get it validated. If you arrive before 7:00 pm, you will need to get a pass from the front desk in order to access the multipurpose room. |
